Our mission from the start was simple: we wanted to help families in Solanco. Working together was the best way to make that happen.
Beginning under the banner, "Community Connectors" a group of concerned community leaders came around the table to answer a single question; "What can we do to help families?"
The answer became a partnership between schools, social services, churches and community organizations at a level Solanco had not seen. The Solanco Family Life Network formed in the Fall of 2015.
With a generous grant from the United Way Lancaster, the SFLN launched it's first family assistance kiosk in the Quarryville Library in June 2016 as a pilot program. The kiosk allows Solanco residents to connect families in need with SFLN members.
